We collect a limited amount of information, and only in these situations:

• When you place an order.Checkout is handled by Stripe. You enter your name, email address, phone number, shipping address and payment card details on Stripe's own secure checkout page. We receive the order details and the contact and shipping information needed to fulfill it. We never receive or store your full card number — that stays with Stripe.
• When you contact us. The contact form asks for your name, email address, phone number and your message. When you submit it, that information is sent to our server and relayed straight to our sales inbox by our email provider. We do not store it in a database — the only lasting copy is the email in that inbox.
• When you browse. Our analytics providers record usage information such as pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, referring site, and device and browser type. See Cookies and analytics below.

We do not offer user accounts, and we do not ask for information we have no use for. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Your shopping cart is kept in your own browser using local storage, not in a cookie and not on our servers. It stays on your device until you clear it, complete an order, or clear your browser data. Its contents are sent to Stripe only when you begin checkout.

We use the information described above to:

• take, process, fulfill and ship your order, and arrange freight;
• answer your questions and provide quotes and support;
• keep records required for tax, accounting and warranty purposes;
• understand how the site is used so we can improve it;
• detect and prevent fraud and abuse.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not send marketing email unless you ask us to.

We use a small number of third-party services to run this site. Each receives only what it needs, and each has its own privacy policy governing what it does with that information:

Stripe — payment processing

Collects and processes your payment, contact and shipping details at checkout, and calculates sales tax. Stripe privacy policy (opens in a new tab).

Google Analytics 4 — website analytics

Resend — email delivery

Delivers the messages you send through our contact form, and your order confirmation, to the relevant inbox. Handles the contents of those emails in transit. Resend privacy policy (opens in a new tab).

Vercel — hosting, analytics and performance monitoring

Serves this website and records aggregate, cookieless visit and page-speed measurements. Vercel privacy policy (opens in a new tab).

We may also disclose information where we are legally required to, or where it is necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.

A cookie is a small file a website stores on your device. This site uses cookies in two ways:

• Strictly necessary.Required for the site to work — for example, remembering your cookie choice, and Stripe's own security cookies during checkout. These are always active and cannot be switched off.
• Analytics. Google Analytics cookies, used to count visits and see which pages are useful. These are off until you accept them. If you decline, no Google Analytics cookies are set and no analytics script is loaded.

You can change your mind at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer of every page. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though parts of the site may stop working normally if you block all of them.

Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights do not use cookies and do not track you across websites, so they run without consent.

We keep order and transaction records for as long as we are required to for tax, accounting and warranty purposes — generally seven years. Contact form messages and other email correspondence are kept in our inbox for as long as they are useful for supporting you, and then deleted. Analytics data is retained according to our Google Analytics settings, which do not exceed 14 months.

This site is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection, and payment details are entered directly into Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified provider. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable measures to protect what we hold.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask us to give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, delete it, or stop using it in certain ways. You also have the right not to be treated differently for exercising these rights.

Texas residents have these rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, and California residents under the California Consumer Privacy Act. As stated above, we do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is nothing for you to opt out of on that front.

To make a request, email orders@klztools.com or call 1 (877) 559-3232. We may need to verify your identity before we act, and we will respond within the time the law allows. If we decline a request, we will tell you why and you may appeal by replying to our response.

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be signposted on the site.
